Description Suggest change

One of the classic climbs in the area, for good reason!

It features mostly vertical climbing on good holds, but makes you work for the good feet. The cruxes are all well bolted so it's a very safe climb when at your limit.

The first pitch (5a) starts with a tricky set of diagonal cracks up to a ledge. Then up the wall to a hanging belay (and as you hang there try and figure out why they didn't put the anchor 1 meter higher for a nice ledge....). You can also finish at the large ledge past the anchor if you clip two more bolts, and belay off a good bolt and a sketchy looking ring. May be harder to hear your follower though.

Second pitch (4b) follows leaves the belayer hanging and moves over a slab and a large ledge, past a set of trees, and to the next wall. Up a set of blocks and you finish at a very nice belay ledge.

3rd pitch (5b) is short but sweet. Up and right on some diagonal cracks - 6 bolts in 20 meters. Each move is interesting and fun, and when you get to the anchor you're almost sad it's over.

4th pitch (4b) moves up and right into a corner system, then up that corner to the anchor.

5th pitch (4a) brings you home - after a slabby finish, you arrive at the anchors.

From the last anchors, you walk out following the easiest terrain until you arrive at the trail. Follow it back to the hut and then down to your stuff.
