Description Suggest change

Circular Logic is a line that begins by climbing the left side of Hidden Falls (main). We used the anchor in the cave near the top for a belay. We gave the belayer ~15 feet of slack to lower down from the anchor and watch the leader traverse the corridor of leftward progressing ice daggers. The rock wall behind the daggers can provide one very sloped crampon placement, otherwise we used the daggers for picks, points, and protection. The ice conditions allowed us to emerge from the corridor through a portal onto the vertical ice above Fir Hang. Because the business of the route is a horizontal traverse, we approached the climb like the follower was also on lead.

Location Suggest change

The route begins just left and below the top of Hidden Falls (main). It follows left within a 4-foot wide corridor (ice on the left and rock on the right).

Protection Suggest change

Stubby screws up near the ice rock interface of the daggers until you reach the ice curtain above Fir Hang, and then longer screws would work well.
