Description Suggest change

Instant Karma might be the single best pitch of ice in the Catskills. A variety of lines form on this section of face. Occasionally a single formed pillar, like a tube straight to the sky, will form. Usually, one can link blobs of ice and climb a free-standing or hanging dagger to top out. The top out can be hard to protect and a big fall here might be bad, so tread cautiously if you get on this one.

Location Suggest change

Start left of the base of Black Chasm Falls on the steep wall. Usually, there is a low bolt visible in between small pillows and blobs of ice pasted to the wall. Climb up from here, often trending right at the top if a complete pillar is not formed.

Protection Suggest change

Screws and bolts. Some short screws for placing in blobs is useful.
