Description Suggest change

A truly wonderful pitch, the hardest in Lukenya.

Work up the rising traverse as the difficulty slowly builds through sequence-specific climbing to a small crux to reach a rest jug. The third bolt can be clipped before or after reaching the jug but it's easier to clip it after once you dial the sequence. From here, take a breath before heading straight up through the steep bulge on perfect crimps past a V7 crux. Hang tight until it finally lets off at the last bolt. Enjoy 10 more feet of perfect jugs to the anchor.

Named in honor of Jakob Gelfand, RIP.

Location Suggest change

Far left end of the cliff at the base of the obvious right-rising weakness.

Protection Suggest change
