Private property in the area and no established trail. The climbing area is behind a fire station and a forest ranger lives in that community as well. be quiet and do not disturb or be rude. I have talked to many of the fire fighters and home owners, they are easy going so far but lets not ruin it.
According to some friendly local police and some firefighters, do not to enter this area via the gate. Use an alternate path about 100' down the road since they would be liable if we got hurt entering via their property. GPS coordinates for the alternate path are 33.646703,-117.443247 (now shown on the MP El Cariso bouldering area page).

Skirt the property on an old game trail in the gully.
Description
Once a top rope that had gone by the way side but now is a fantastic lead for the Ortega. Start at base of squeeze chimney (easy if short). Wiggle way back and up into the chimney until you reach a crack that takes a #4 or #5. Exit chimney to a nice ledge and take the Space Walk (easier if tall). Bring a stiff quick draw to clip the high bolt off the ledge, or pre place draws after leading one of the other routes.
