Description
A couple of cruxes are to be enjoyed on this adventure. The first chimney warms you up and the second chimney lets you know the climbing has begun. A difficult entry into the second chimney yields good rock and upon exiting the rock gets better. While the rock is great, the protection is minimal but the climbing is never to difficult, a slip would be a game-ender. Belay on a nice featured ledge with one bolt and/or gear options.
Pitch two climbs straight up the vertical crack (this pitch can be seen from the trail) and eventually to the summit. The protection is available but the rock can seem untrustworthy at times. A fairly sustained crack from start to finish...it might feel a bit harder than 5.8?
