A fun bouldery start puts you into a committing lay back to 2nd bolt. From there surf up an awesome stemming corner with jams in a crack. Then crank back to the headwall on nice patina edges. This is a great selection of different climbing styles packed into 75 feet and very generous at the grade...(for the city)

directly right of The Mechanic. Look up the corner for bolts.

5 bolts to anchors with rap rings.

The crux is balancey and thought-provoking: an awkward layback with some moderately reachy (but good & doable) holds. I'm 5'2" and was able to reach everything and still feel they are 12a moves. The first bolt can be stick clipped and the crux is between the 1st and 3rd bolt. It didn't feel run-out or dangerous. Following the cruxis an enjoyable crack with some fun and flowy movements to the anchors with rap rings (they look new as of September 2018). I would and hope to get on this again!

I chose to climb this route over The Mechanic (12a to the left) because there was no slabby sections on Raingutter and The Mechanic looks pretty slabby up top, though I've not been on it. Sep 4, 2018
