excellent hard boulder problem right off the road. sit start on good crimp rails and work your way out to the arete. trend left on really cool two finger pockets. eventually get into a finger lock in a flake and do a big move to a slopey large pocket near the lip and mantle over.

This is a CLASSIC!!

a stand start variation making the big move from the flake to the pocket and then mantling is around V5/6

steep west face that faces the blue sky trail

This is one of the best boulder problems I've been on. Hard moves, endurance and a crux finish. Definitely a classic anywhere! Oct 29, 2017

I didn't use the arete out right when I climbed this. Not to take anything away from that method...it is still very hard! Just wanted to disclose how the line was originally done. Definitely a different problem without the arete. However, the new method is probably more attainable for climbers with a normal wingspan. Nov 19, 2018
