Start on the ledge to the right of Beginner's Route, working upward keeping the right hand on/around the arete. Optionally traverse left at the crack near the top to stay closer to your anchor.

Right of Beginner's Route, obvious ledges on the right will guide you onto the rock.

Top rope using same tree or gear as Beginner's Route. Use caution when topping out since you are ~6 feet right of the anchor, or traverse left and end on Beginner's Route.

It's possible to get a #2 BD cam in the drainage to the right, and if both that and the small tree is extended the anchor can be built immediately over the finish. This makes the whole route a lot better to climb. Oct 14, 2017
