The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Start about five feet right of The River at an arête with a flake. This arête and flake is just left of an obvious easy crack/corner. Layback up the flake on the arête, then make face moves up and left to a ledge. Climb the short face to the top (as for The River).
