Access Issue: Climbing site closed by the municipality / Site fermé par la municipalité Details

Following multiple complaints by residents the city has judged the site does not respect the zoning for the sector and will outlaw recreative activities including climbing. Fixed protection will be removed and the parking lot (on private property) will be closed.

À la suite de multiples plaintes déposées par des résidents, la ville a jugé que le site ne respectait pas le zonage du secteur et a interdit les activités récréatives, y compris l'escalade. Les protections fixes et installations seront retirées et le stationnement actuel (sur propriété privée) sera interdit.

Description

Crux at the beginning that is protected by a bolt. It is recommended to use a stick-clip on this bolt. After use small holds, a ledge and keep going in the vertical/diagonal crack. Higher on the route, the rock get really adherent and aesthetic. Try Le Flake just left for a 5.8+ crux alternative.

Crux au tout début de la voie qui est protégé par une plaquette. Il est recommandé d'utiliser un stick-clip. On grimpe ensuite sur de petites tablette et une vire pour pour continuer dans la fissure vertical/diagonale. La partie du haute de la voie possède une roche très adhérente et très esthétique. Considéré comme l'une des plus belles voies du site. Vous pouvez essayer Le Flake à gauche pour une alternative 5.8+ au crux.

Location

To the left of the great dihedral, you will find a another dihedral not really high but evident, this is the start of Le Flake and above right, in the dark rock, you will see the single bolt of the route. Follow the darkness until you reach the bottom, this is your starting point.

À gauche du grand dièdre, tu va trouver un autre petit dièdre pas très haut mais très évident, c'est le début de Le Flake. Au dessus à droite, dans la partie noir du mur tu va voir la seul plaquette de la voie. Suis les taches noir jusqu'au sol et c'est là que tu commence.
