Access Issue: Climbing site closed by the municipality / Site fermé par la municipalité Details

Following multiple complaints by residents the city has judged the site does not respect the zoning for the sector and will outlaw recreative activities including climbing. Fixed protection will be removed and the parking lot (on private property) will be closed.

À la suite de multiples plaintes déposées par des résidents, la ville a jugé que le site ne respectait pas le zonage du secteur et a interdit les activités récréatives, y compris l'escalade. Les protections fixes et installations seront retirées et le stationnement actuel (sur propriété privée) sera interdit.

Description

Nice overhanging dulfer crux at the first roof in the middle of the route. Really nice to get your blood pumping if you are still afraid of climbing outdoor. Even tho it's only one pitch, the roof offer some exposition and belayer may have to take the climber for quite some time before passing the crux. Personally, a classic for me :)

The name "Cornet" is an ice cream cone with is the shape of the roof.

Ho le beau crux! Super mouvement de dulfère en surplomb au premier toit et très belle voie pour pratiquer les placements. Même si ce n'est qu'un seul pitch, elle offre une belle exposition et j'ai un plaisir à la faire essayer à mes connaissance qui commence la grimpe extérieur. Cette voie donne une certaine perspective à la grimpe extérieur :) Un classique!

Location

Since the trail arrive from the right side of the wall, when you arrive from the trail it in the first routes you will see. You can find the route by following the crag that goes to a V kind of roof.

Vue que la randonné mène sur le côté droit du grand mur, ça va être dans les première vois que vous allez voir. Chercher une fissure qui mène à un toit qui forme un V.
