Climb up the short but steep column of ice to just below the bolt. Reach across to the ice and move around to the front before climbing to the top. Use the big fir tree as an anchor.


About 200m from the road on the right side of the path. About 5 m right of the easier ice route that climbs behind the tree. Look for the lone bolt about 2/3 up.


You can usually get two good screws in before the bolt. The free hanging ice is protected by the only bolt on the route. You can sometimes get a good screw in higher up, otherwise use an ice piton or just run it out to the tree.
