Description

The highlight here is the bouldering potential as one ascends this drainage. Follow the gulley to the top for a good look at it all. There wasn't much (if any) ice to speak of when I did this thing in early season, but there might be as the season goes on.

Location

This route is the first major gully you will encounter on your right after the burm on your left subsides as you're walking down the tracks from the south shore parking lot.

Boyish Gulley is the western gulley marked on this map.

Protection

An ice axe makes this more comfortable.
