Great 2nd pitch on this one! Long water groove that's a little run-out in spots but usually over easy terrain. Takes big gear, double #3 and #4 C4s would be helpful and can be placed right in the water groove. Fun! Nov 12, 2013

We got on this route today, and maybe we weren't on route, but there where no anchors at the top of the first pitch. Over to the right were some poorly placed bolts without rings, so we had to traverse way out left to some rings over there. Mar 27, 2014

Unless someone removed the bolts (unlikely) it sounds like you were off-route, there were definitely rap rings at the top of both pitches when we climbed it...it took us awhile to figure out exactly where this route was from the guidebook Apr 15, 2014

Does the #4 C4 protect a particularly difficult part of the route or is it a nice to have piece(s)? Thanks! Jan 27, 2018
