To the right of the obvious crack on the middle of the boulder you will see a right ascending line of featured hands and crimps. Sitstart at the lowest hands and trend up with the holds to the right to gain the jug crack, topping out useing the nice fin at the top.

Do you start on the small crescent crimp to the left of the low rail or the rail itself? Dec 15, 2015

Trevor, for the 3 I think it starts at the lowest obvious point on the rail. A lower start would be cool too! Dec 16, 2015

We started left hand out on the crescent (there was chalk so we weren't sure if it was supposed to be used or not) and right hand on the large rail. Not sure it would make the climb any harder, but it worked well for my beta. A two hand start on the crescent would make it more difficult to establish, but would still probably keep it at a 3. I'll try it the next time I'm there! Jan 10, 2016

Most natural start seemed to be matched on the bottom of the rail. Where her left foot is in this pic: mountainproject.com/v/10736…

But, if you start further left you can give yourself additional bonus points!

Nice little climb for sure. Feb 17, 2016
