No real crux, climb the arete marked with drill scars.

There's a v4 variation of this arete that is to be climbed without using your hands called Papa Bells Arete.


Obvious left leaning arete on the north side of the boulder.
Get down using the tree.

I've never heard the arête called jingle bells before (I always called it the no-hands arête)...climbing it no-handed is a blast... it would be hard to grade due to its novelty, but I guess V4 is good enough. The west face (officially Slab V0) can also be climbed hands free, and it allows for a totally different experience at about the same difficulty as the arête. Nov 13, 2014
