Description

The steep face just left of East Chimney. Climb right-facing features up the center of the face, making your way to the offwidth at the top. I suspect taller climbers will have an easier time on this.

Location

Around right of East Pillar's main face, about 10' left of E.P. Chimney. The offwidth is easily spotted from a few yards further right on the trail.

Protection

TR from trees and gear above (look under the small black birch for a 4" crack)

There's no way to climb this in anything but a full-on, aggressive style. The steepness and interesting rock features of the monkey face may remind one of the Red River Gorge. Aug 12, 2011
