Description

This moves up the arete on small face holds. The easy start can be done stemming the corner or try direct to the first bolt for a challenge.

Location

This is located on the obvious arete on the 3rd cliff block. It is left of Back Nine.

Protection

5 bolts to a chain anchor.

Forcing the route up the face underneath the first bolt (without using the corner to stem, which is logical) probably makes the crux V3/4, depending on direction, and would definitely alter the grade, though not improving the route. Aug 31, 2014

Agreed, that mono pocket start, V3/4 bouldering stuff, makes this a bit more than a 9+! Even the face, tough stuff compared to the others. Mar 2, 2016
