Climb the overhanging arete through the bulges and then balance your way up the slab to the top. Although it's considered a classic, it tends to be less popular with beginners since setting the top rope requires a small, easy free solo to reach the top of the block.

Located on the right side of the north face of the Island Block, directly across from Beginners' Face.

Anchor bolts and trees.

This is a very interesting route and also one of the longest and highest at the Rim Road area. It is well worth the effort required to set up a top rope. Top access is via Rigging Route or Alt Access, down the alley on the SW corner of Island Block. Aug 22, 2017
