The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Climb up past 4 bolts to a 2 bolt anchor. This formation is a slender beautiful finger of rock; small but awesome in it's shape and beauty.

Location

Get off of I-10 at the Eagle Mtn. Exit, and drive to the visible crags which are south of the Freeway. This formation is on the backside of the crag area, and not visible until you get upon it. You can drive up just below it, and scrable up to the base in a minute or two.
