Description

You'll encounter strenuous and balancy lieback moves at the start as you pass two bolts on the way to a small ledge. Above the ledge climb featured, just-off vertical face past two more bolts to join Crappie Corner for it's last bolt and anchors.

This route is the preferred start for Check Your Fly, and if doing so use a full length runner on the 3rd bolt of this route (where it branches off) and a long draw on the 1st bolt of CYF to cut down on rope drag.

Location

Located just right of Crappie Corner and a short ways left of Piece of Carp.

Protection

5 bolts, chain anchors (shared w/ Crappie Corner)

Interesting start but the last 2/3 is pretty boring. If the whole route was like the start it would be significantly harder than 10d. Jun 11, 2017

Good opening moves soon fade to a disappointing finish. Sep 18, 2011
