Box Canyon is privately owned. Details

Description

Climb relatively positive, but pumpy holds to a decent rest about 12 feet below the anchors. Finish on sidepulls up and left. Try not to annoy or be annoyed by the pigeons.

Location

First climb on the right of Ammo Dump wall...just left of the 5.13a climb called Loser on the Cobble wall.

Protection

about +/-10 bolts to the chains, easy to count from below.

This is the better of the two "warm ups" on this end of the ammo dump wall. There were pigeons up in the ledge, but they flew away as I approached. There didn't seem to be a great clipping stance at the chains unless I stemmed across to the other side. There are not carabiners on the chains, so you need to bring enough draws for the chains too.
