HUMAN WASTE Human waste is one of the major issues plaguing Red Rocks. The Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council and the AAC provides free "wag bags" in several locations (Black Velvet, First Pullout, Kraft Mtn/Bouldering, The Gallery, and The Black Corridor). These bags are designed so that you can pack your waste out - consider bringing one to be part of your kit (just like your rope and shoes and lunch) no matter where you go. Once used, please dispose of them properly (do not throw them in the toilets at the parking area).
Description
This is one of the original routes on the wall and is rated 12c in the guidebook. This one is almost never climbed, but there is one tick on 8a.nu which gave a grade of 13a, stating:
"Dirty, sandy, lichen-covered, broken. Feels like a crux face pitch on Zion's Spaceshot or Touchstone Wall. Likely one of few ascents in many years."
The bolts look pretty corroded but it might just be thick a layer of sand. To be safe, they should be inspected carefully before climbing. This might be a cool route after lots of effort to clean, reinforce, and/or rebolt, as there are some interesting features on this section of the wall.
