This is a steep, clean, fairly long hand crack in a shaded location.

in a corridor near the north end of Stirrup Towers, on an east-facing wall

the crack itself is pretty clean, albeit more grainy toward the top. most of the loose stuff is on the face right of the crack. lots of crispy flakes and chossy chunks. mind the rope strands above you as you rap. the weighed rope could easily crush or floss off big pieces to plummet down onto you Dec 11, 2015

Great route. Take care if rappelling and pulling the rope down hand grenade. It just loves swallowing up the rope and got stuck on the way up and down... We ended up re-climbing and rappeling way right over a bolted slabby climb (I don't know the name). Thought we were being pretty careful... guess not Oct 26, 2015
Nice obscure route, clean finger-to-hand jams in a shallow RF corner. IMO one of the best of the Stirrup Tank area. Good patina rock on the steep lower half - polished and slick. The difficulties and the rock quality decrease a bit up higher. Shares a bolted rap anchor for another route up top. Single rope rappel to climber's right. Jan 23, 2013

There is a bit of loose/flaky rock. Bring a #4 Camalot for the upper easy part. May 26, 2010
