On the trail to the middle section from the mine entrance parking: after hiking 1 mile southwest, you'll see this saddle on your left. The trail goes over the saddle, heading south.

On the trail to the middle section from the mine entrance parking: just before the end, you cross a small ridge marked by this large cairn: the trail then proceeds west to the edge.

The middle section of Apache Leap contains the tallest walls in the Queen Creek area. Many are north-facing.
On the trail to the southern part of Apache leap: A view from the saddle, just after the pond and before heading north. The hike itself is worth the trip.
