The location of the lower piton that was loose and we removed today. The chalky slot down and right is the horizontal that takes great cams. The carabiner visible is attached to a quickdraw on a good RP.
The dark brown rusty streak is the location of the loose, lower piton that we removed. This view shows the fractured flake just left. We worried that hammering a new, thicker piton might cause more fracturing.
