Three historically classic guidebooks from the golden days of climbing on The Refuge and Quartz Mountain. Southern Exposure written by Duane Raleigh and Bill Thomas, was published in 1980. Oklahoma On The Rocks written by Jon Frank and Jack Wurster, was published in 1986. Oklahoma On The Rocks II written by Jon Frank, Jack Wurster and Duane Raleigh, was published in 1989! Great classics for anyone who can get your hands on them!

Definitely a year round destination! We had a great day of winter scrambling all over the Refuge one snowy day in March 2009.
