Kor's Flake - front and center!

For the follower, the "easy face climbing" is more of an option. It is mostly bear-hugging the arete and inside edge, stepping into typical Lumpy Ridge scoops. Really makes the leader resent the 2nd.

Me at the top of the crux flake. I found it impractical to bump a #6, so I took a healthy runout to the #4 fist crack, where it eases up. This picture is of me just above the #4 fist crack.

Pitch 5. The last 5.7 move of the route is pulling the roof. From there, 5.easy to the top.

A#6 is nice to have too!

Picture shows the top of the flake and P3 belay along with the route continuing up the right-facing corner. I combined P2 and P3 with a 60m rope and belayed from where the photo is taken (no worse than slab hanging belay) and from there made it to the ledge on top of P4.

I didn't think many of the photos really represented the flake. I noticed a lot of comments talking about easy face climbing; totally true. HOWEVER, if you are on it for the first time, I really doubt you will be out there. For the runout though, you can be in the chimney far enough that the only place you will be falling is further IN.
