A topo of our route up the East Buttress of Mt Goode.
This was so helpful, thanks! Couple of notes:
P1: is awesome
P2: sketchy, if you messed up crossing the ugly chimney you'd take a huge swing and slam into the arete. Maybe some people downclimb into the chimney instead of crossing onto the blank face?
P3: blah. lots of loose stuff but easy to avoid it.
P4: Stellar! both the finger crack and chimney are rad.
P5: we broke into two pitches because the rope drag was terrible and there were LOTS of loose rocks that the rope could knock down (there was a party below us going up a different route).
P6: look for a chimney to the left of an off-width crack.
P7: we did something slightly different for the first half, followed the supertopo. As of 7-30-2017 there is a block (probably 60 lbs or more) that is barely balanced there, looks connected, and it right in a spot where you're tempted to pull on it. i didn't see the 5.8 Hand-OW mentioned but i didn't really look for it. I actually found this more helpful than the SuperTopo topo in many ways. Thanks for the great photo topo!

P3 & P4 distances are a little off. I managed to link them with a 70m rope and had about 10 ft of rope left, so combined they should be about 220' to a great ledge. Jun 19, 2012
