Jamestown Conditions
|
Me and my buddy were looking at getting out to Jamestown this weekend. Has anyone been the past couple months that can speak on the condition of the crag? I heard white wall has been pretty overgrown in the past. |

All of the popular Jamestown routes are in good shape. The exception will be water seepage on a few routes (lower portion of pick'n 'n grinning) after all the rain this week. Great and uncrowded crag. |

Make sure you've got clearance and 4x4 |

My vehicle is lifted and is 4 wheel drive so I’ll be good either way. I’ll post back to with crag and road conditions for future travelers! |

Went up today and the road after the SCC gate has some pretty large puddles but my Vovlo SUV made it through (gonna need a car wash) . The base of white wall under the power lines is pretty grown over but the stuff over the hill climbers left is solid. Harvest Wall was clean too! |

Access drive conditions on 02/22/25 after a stretch of wet weather. There was another one just like this. Depth of water was ~12” |

Crap, thanks. I need to reevaluate how to get there next week! |

Turns out Mark B was referring to Jamestown in Arkansas while the others meant Jamestown Alabama. Sedan drivers in Arkansas rejoice, 4x4 with high clearance likely needed in Alabama. |
