Slug bug game, but for campervans
|
When I was a kid, sitting in the backseat of my parents car, my brother and I would be on the look out for a Volkswagen Beatle AKA "slug bug." As soon as one of us saw a VW Beatle we would slug the other in the arm. Man that was a great game. Now I am older, and only slightly more mature, I am amazed at the number of campervans driving around. I think it would be fun to revamp the slug bug game with one that is based off of campervans. The volume of #Vanlife going on will give us plenty of opportunities to play the new version of this game. My only problem is, I can not come up with a good rhyme to say before punching my wife in the arm. Can you guys help me out by creating a clever phrase and making this into a new thing? Here are some rough ideas that I am working on. Campervan Wham Campervan Slam Sprinter Hitter Van life, Punch wife Campervan bam bam. None of them have that perfect ring of "slug bug." I know Mountainproject is made up of the best and brightest folks on the internet, so I am confident that we can figure this out together. Let me hear you ideas. Thanks |

Does anyone already play a game like this with campervans? When I lived in Leavenworth, I would base the quality of the day off of how many campervans were parked at Good Mood Food. "Today is a 6 Sprinter day. We are going to send!" |

When I was kid we called it “punch buggy” for VW bugs. |

You play this in Squamish and someone is being beat to death |

I like sprinter hitter, but when I first read it I saw Sprintler Hitler |

I remember like 12 years ago when there was a small number of Sprinter vans roaming the crags of the western US. Now you can not go to a climbing area without seeing a handful of them. I really love when the vans say something like "Follow us on Instagram @JustStartedClimbingOutside" |
