I will admit I was poorly informed in previous posts regarding the merits of linear periodization. More specifically, proper use of a hang-board is complementary to a broader training regime. There is no debate that these methods work. It's proven time and time again in the gym. We all still agreed that using such methodology to redpoint something put up 20 years ago is poor form. However, much like 2A arguments, it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
We are wise to consider the next level and our collective efforts to such end. If not for ourselves but as an example to others who will follow suit. I did and I wish I hadn't. I would have started hang-boarding years ago. In the absence of that which is not, that which is, is not.
