I was wondering if anyone had experience/knowledge as to what these different "holds" are best for.
I'm looking for something to do a few pull ups on, but just as much to work on grip.
Any thoughts on the 3.5" bombs vs the 4.5" bombs?
How about the missiles vs the pipe bombs?
Also the different sizes of pipe bombs (2, 2.75", 3.5")?

Last, are there any must have holds from Atomik (for a straight up 45)?

Hi Andy, Here's the breakdown on the Atomik Bomb line...

2.5 inch bombs = great for kids or one arm training
3.5 inch bombs = open handed tendon friendly pull ups
4.5 inch bombs = sloper training / pull ups
6.0 inch bombs = serious V6+ sloper training
9.0 inch bomb = core strength training

missiles = pinch/pull up training for moderate to high volume reps

2 inch pipe bombs = strengthens grip, ice climbers favorite, mountain bikers favorite

2.75 inch pipe bombs = open handed pinch training in the V4/V5 range

3.5 inch pipe bombs = V6+ pinch training

As for holds for a 45, the grade you want them to feel is the info I would need to recommend something. we have several lines that are designed with specific angles in mind. The wide font pinches are an excellent example. See link below
