I am sure you have all seen a few good ones. Here is Peter Croft enjoying the sunrise from Laurel Mtn. on Tuesday morning(7/13). There is nothing better than approaching via headlamp and being on a face when the sun rises!

The camera could not do justice to this sunrise. From the lower falls amphitheater (we were knocking out all the routes before it got hot).

Chasm Lake, Longs Peak
The sunrise glow filled the entire sky that morning.

Sometimes the sunrises here are so incredibly amazing that it will make grown, manly men weep . . . .

Back when I was hard core into skydiving we used to climb to altitude before sunrise and watch the sun come up from the plane. Then, the sun would set again in freefall and we would watch it come up again after we landed. That was pretty cool.

JML, your threads without a doubt are some of the most obnoxious submissions on MP. :)

Cool sunrises. Is there any better place to be than on the side of a mountain with a cup of coffee watching the sun rise?
