Windows XP. It happened to me once, but I haven't been able to replicate the problem---everything has worked as advertised since. The one time occurred while editing an old file (created with one of the earlier versions).

Having just used it, real quick, as a test, it's freakin' awesome. Thanks, Alma!

So this program is AWESOME! on a side note, does anyone else find it hilarious that a program designed for route marking has Delicate Arch for an icon? Is this a subtle hint that dean was just ahead of the curve?

Undo/redo is a really great additon. Betacreator is getting close to perfection for the job. The only feature I'm still missing is a color background for the belay tool (the same option as for the text would be quite useful) Thank you

Version 1.6.1 (9/2/09) - Added translucent background for rappel/belay - Added help documentation under help menu - Fixed bugs with Match All to Selected Color - Fixed bugs with Change All to Selected Size - Fixed bug with line point editing Hopefully the background on the rappel/belay tool makes it stand out better for you all. It was my best effort of doing something similar to the text box backgrounds.

Hi Alma, Your "best effort of doing something similar to the text box backgrounds" on the rappel/belay tool is more than enough. Great job! I might be just splitting hairs, but for a few colors (shades of green: #00ff00 to #00ff66, #33ff00 and #33ff33, #66ffoo) the background for the belay tool should be the dark one for better contrast. Thank you for your work.

Version 1.6.2 (9/8/09) - Fixed bug with panning after saving - Fixed bug with moving objects - Improved algorithm for text/belay background The contrast should be much better for text background colors and the belay/rappel tool.

I have used this for close photos of just 4-5 anchors and for large zoomed out photos showing multiple 5 and 6 pitch routes across an entire formation and love the program. The undo/ redo feature really makes it work, as well as the ability to save the data layer separately. That feature alone makes this far better than doing this through regular photo editing software- I can open up my data layer and the original uncompressed photo and add new things or start where I left off, unlike those other approaches! Fantastic array of icons, very useful for all sorts of applications. You have succeeded in giving to the climbing community and done very well, sir. Thank you greatly, looking forward to any other fine improvements! (can't suggest any at this time. It meets all my needs)

This sounds pretty cool - unfortunately the install failed for me. Excuse the plug but has anyone checked out wikitopo? This a sample page: wikitopo.com/crag.php?cragId=1 Visitors can edited the topos online if they are logged in. This is a demo of the topo editor: wikitopo.com/topoViewer.php…
