Hello. Not entirely familiar with mountainproject so if this is the wrong place to ask please lmk. We're 2 guys and 4 girls from australia looking for a local crusher to take us up a couple of single pitch sport routes in the area. 5.10d or easier, just aesthetic adventure climbing, anything you reckon is sweet. We've only got 1 rope, no draws. We will happily feed you breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We have a big RV so you can take a shower & charge some stuff too. Thank you very much.

Is the issue a lack of gear or that you need someone to do the leading for you? St. George is not hard to navigate, you’d have a much easier time grabbing a couple packs of draws and a guidebook. Or a guide, depending on your needs.

hey. by "grabbing" do you mean renting? or purchase? reason we're asking for a local is because we have a pretty tight budget. plus we're all a little rusty due to holidaying for 2 weeks.

I meant buying but you might have luck asking to borrow.

Let me add some context. Your post comes across as wanting to be guided, generally people don’t respond well to that. Clarify your abilities to belay, clean anchors, etc. Maybe ask to join a group that has extra draws. That should open up a bunch more options. I’d help some fellow Aussies if I was out there but unfortunately I’m not.

You could probably go to a popular climbing wall, particularly on a weekend, and ask someone to attach your rope on an anchor so you can top rope something?

Hey! I could be keen to hang, I’m looking for a partner for the Sunset Alley area. The road up there is really pretty good, but steep at the top, and the camping is great. Lots of 10’s. I’m working on a few 5.12’s up there if someone would be willing (and very experienced) to belay? I’m happy to hang as many 5.10’s as you want!

I have 3 ropes and a lot of draws! I’m really fun and only kind of normal I swear.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
