What Does Your Woody Look Like??? v3.0

Worm drive, not hydraulic. But yes, adjustable. I mostly keep it set at 30 degrees, it's nice to have the option to change it. It's got holds and mats now and had been fantastic to have at home. |

Aaron Lieblingwrote: Nice! Presumably there is another jack on the other side. I've seen a design that used a bar connecting the two drives to keep them synchronized. Yes, having a home board is life changing. |

I have to manually synchronize them - which just means fully retracting or extending. Not really a big deal as I don't change the angle often. Might be more annoying for a gym/high traffic wall where the angle changed all the time. |

Aaron Lieblingwrote: Oh, that's right, yours are electric drive. The ones that I saw that were synchronized were manual like trailer jacks, so you just cranked on one side and both jacks moved |

Roccowrote: Very cool, but good god how steep is that thing? |

John Clarkwrote: It adjusts from 50° to 65° in 5° intervals. I spend most of my time training at 60° with 55° and 65° mixed in from time to time. In the photo is 65° I'm pretty sure. |

Roccowrote: Them are some nice, nice holds on that rig, especially the wood grips. Well done, good sir! Very jealous. PS. Who made you the wood holds? That your handy work? |

randy baumwrote: Hey, thanks. Yeah, the wood ones are all mine. I have a company that makes wood holds so the board is my testing ground. That's also why the board is adjustable. Burlwoodgrips on IG and burlwoodgrips.com if you feel like seeing some better shots of my work. |

Freestanding 8x8 at 40°, 1 foot kicker that accidentally ended up at a slight angle instead of vertical (which I kinda like with the slopey feet), wall came together in a day. First set using a combo of Escape factory seconds and a bunch of miscellaneous feet, along with handmade wood holds (the “toilet seat” in the middle is my favorite, inspiration from the TB2 pancake hold). Still doesn’t feel 100% set (will it ever?), and I feel like it’ll need some tweaking as this is my first time setting a spray wall. I’m excited to get some climbing on it! The thing’s unbelievably solid.

Wasn't there someone here recently who put up a high end adjustable wall built by I think 'reveal'? I very possibly have the name wrong. |

Victor Creazziwrote: I think you mean revival climbing in Minnesota. |

Mine is from revival and I've been super happy with it. See the photos above. |

Aaron Lieblingwrote: That's it thanks. Didn't you have a dedicated thread on it? I couldn't find it. |

Victor Creazziwrote: Never mind I found it in general climbing, I was looking in training. |

Anyone aware of whats going on with beastmaker holds? They havent updated their hold stock in over a year, which maybe they lost the contract with the company making them? |

Taylor Owenswrote: They were having issues with the cnc shop they contracted with. Seems they are in process of restocking now though. Prices have gone up and shipping/tariffs i except will make them unaffordable for the US market |

Taylor Owenswrote: Can't speak to that but I've had good experiences with both Hard Wood and Taylor Made Holds recently, if you're looking for other options. |
