Grigri attachment used for LRS, any input is appreciated.

I am wondering if there would be any interest from other climbers in this device, that I 3d printed for using my Grigri+ for LRS. It uses 3M double sided, Very High Bond, tape to attach to your Grigri 2, Grigri 3, Grigri plus, or Petzl Neox. It would come with an alcohol wipe, to clean the mounting location for a strong bond. But it can be removed without damage or staining of the device. It is 3d printed from solid, high temperature, strong ABS plastic. Please share any input that you may have, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |

May I ask, is this just an auxiliary attachment, so the GG isn't dropped? And before others ask - VHB tape is absolutely incredible... |

Any end user comparisons vs https://blissclimbingtech.com/gg-modifier/ version? |

People seem to be buying the Bliss one so I imagine there's interest in something like yours too. I like how yours allows for slight adjustments in where your cord is tied so that you can modify the angle the GG hangs at on a neck lanyard. Personally, I drilled mine but I definitely understand the hesitation others may have in doing that and this looks like a great alternative. |

I published this design in the FB LRS group last year. I also mentioned it in my blog where I reviewed Yann's product (BCG Modifier): https://sicgrips.blogspot.com/2024/10/grigri-modifier-review.html, and also here on MP at the end of this thread: https://www.mountainproject.com/forum/topic/200493786/grigri-tether |

Yondu Harley Cwrote: It looks better than the one from Bliss climbing because it has more holes. On the other hand if the hole on the Bliss climbing product is in the right place, which I have every reason to assume that it is, then these extra holes are just that, extra un needed holes. Simpler is better. Also the Bliss climbing product is less bulky. |

Skyler Florawrote: Thanks, I was not aware of this. $30 seems much more reasonable. |
