Can someone help explain what’s closed during later July in Indian creek? Like the map looks like everything is closed for raptors. What area with classics is still open and what climbs that are classics are still open. My trip can range to as late as July as possible, would that help me avoid raptor closures? I’m just confused on what’s climb able during this closure. Is it voluntary like devils tower?
Most cliffs on the north side of the canyon are closed. Cliffs on the south side and all of Beef Basin road are open. Supercrack Buttress/ Donnelly Canyon / Battle of the Bulge are some of the most popular crags and none are closed for raptors.
It’s gonna be hot as Hades in July- very much the off-season for the Creek. Raptor closures won’t be the thing that stops you from having fun.

To answer your question, from what I understand with the monument now, the closures are actual closures and no long volunteer. But also, there is a ton of climbing to be done down there without disturbing the known nesting sites. It’s awesome to see these birds flying the through the canyon and the closure is limited to spring season and summer.
