Hi,

The description and comments on MP for the Grack is a little confusing, but I see a lot of recent ticks.  Can anyone tell me the conditions of the rap stations and what the current rap beta / required rope length is?

Thanks!

It’s been 60m for many years now. In lieu of info, always a good idea to carry two quicklinks and two bail biners in case rockfall has altered any of the hangars.

Climbed it last week. Used a 70m and all stations were good.

Keep left and don’t try to “stretch to the next station” and you will avoid the smashed stations.

Thanks all. Climbed it on Sunday. Great route and super clear / easy raps.

I added the rappel stations in 2019. Just went up there and was like 'what? a clean splitter beginner route in the Valley with fucked up rappels when all the new 5.12 routes at Fifi have rings and chain for one-rope rapping, lame!' I hope more people do the same on every route in the Valley! E
