Hello!

I’ll be seeing a concert at Red Rocks on May 2nd and will be camping in the area for a couple nights. I’m very new to climbing, my first outdoor climbing experience was recent and I’ve been in a gym only a couple of times. I’m hoping to gain some experience and make new friends on this trip. If anyone can point me in a direction to link up with a group it would be greatly appreciated!

Canal Zone is the local beginner crag. If the weather is nice, I'm sure there will be plenty of groups there! Looks like CMC has a class later in the week too.

I don’t know much about groups, but would strongly recommend getting a guide if you’re that inexperienced.  There’s some fun easy multi-pitch in clear creek canyon that I’m sure you would enjoy (with someone experienced)

also, Red Rocks Amphitheater is amazing.  Enjoy the show!

Aye a fellow Turnover fan, I’ll be at that show as well. Are you into more trad or bouldering?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
