Khayyam Spire - what is route name on south east face?

My friend and I recently climbed on Khayyam Spire and did a route that was to the climber's right of "Yellow Wall", on the south east face. There were some pitons on the route, but I checked the Needles guidebook and the Adventure Climbs of Herb and Jann Conn and didn't see it in either of those books. Does anyone know what the name is? It roughly goes straight up in this picture, past that red bush and into the shaded chimney to the top.

Depends on where you started, I guess. Likely the Kamps route (route 1)?

Thanks Jerry, yeah definitely sounds like route #1, though I did a bit of a variation and didn't go into the chimney, opting for some roofy dihedrals to the left of it...got kind of hard and pitons quit appearing. Two follow ups: were there any pictures of those routes or is it just descriptions? which guidebook is that?

It's Paul Piana's Touch the Sky; no pics. Maybe you wound up on the finish for Wild Man Traverse? A fun outing in any case, I'm sure!

Jerry nailed it! You did the Kamps route or some variation of it. Good work, this route doesn't see much action.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
