6 rock types this year for me: Granite (all over the Sierra) Gneiss (a few spots in Tahoe), Rhyolite (good ol Mortar Rock) Basalt (Putah Creek; Jailhouse) Limestone (Auburn Quarry) and pending.... Sandstone (Red Rock the last week of December) --- I got more than double that in 2022, with 13 rock types. Had a thread about that (final list on page 4) |
