Selfish wall winter sun?

anyone know when selfish wall is in the sun in the winter? From the MP map it looks like full sun around 10 am, but then I’m not sure when it starts to get shade. Does the buttress opposite six star wall block the sun from 1pm on? Or is the sun high enough to squeeze the last few hours?

Thanks!

I don't have a definitive answer for you, but really the only crags worth climbing at in the winter are the ones that have a full southern aspect to them. Sure, you can climb a little east and a little west, but the best and warmest sun is from the south. That being said the Hong Buttress on the far right side of the Disappointment Cliffs (maybe this is what you are talking about) will block the sun at some point. I was there in October and the left side of the crag went into the shade kind of early, maybe 1-2? I'm sure it's worse in the later months of winter.

Thanks for the help! I think that’s all I need to hear. I’ll probably stick to the usual winter spots.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
