This is my first comment on the matter and its annoying to see the multiple posts in the mountain project form that is supposed to be dedicated to bringing new ideas and innovation to the website just being used to complain about a single banner ad that is the revenue the page sees.

Maybe if it didn’t scree up functionality on mobile there wouldn’t be many complaints!

It’s not the existence of the banner, it’s that it adjust the location of every link on the page and obscures the map

have you considered using the app instead of a website that isn't optimized for mobile devices? The on X ad doesn't even show up on the map when using the app and you can download areas and use the resources offline.
