I think its safe to say, if you can not roll up on a Saturday night and easily find camping, its not a destination

Too bad, Yosemite Valley would have qualified if not for this.

Rushmore and the Needles in South Dakota would be another one to add to this list.  It isn't quite good enough in any one category, but the combination of sport, trad, and bouldering on such unique rock make it really worthwhile.

Are we including the Thimble as a boulder?

Its both.  Soloing up the backside scared the hell out of me, but it sure was nice for setting up a TR on the gill route.

Can’t be both

I started putting these areas in a google map. I'll continue to add to the Other areas. Again this is just one person's opinion of great destinations, not necessarily the best climbing. Of course MP has an interactive map, but this is less cluttered and easy to see where some of the top spots are. It's interesting to see how the geographic formations relate to great climbing spots. E.g. The New, The Red, and Chattanooga area crags are pretty close to each other and in a similar aspect on the west side of the Appalachia.

Firmly disagree. The draw to me about many places is the ability to get away from civilization and crowds.

Wait. You're saying that if there is camping available on a Saturday night then it's a destination? That really doesn't make any sense.

Yeah no one is rolling in to Yosemite on a Saturday and finding camping. I think of a prime destination as someplace you could camp out at and hang out at for a week or more. But you may need to arrive midweek or schedule in advance. The biggest factors include accessibility and tourist popularity.

1) The local gym. Weather is always perfect. Also great for ogling bodies.

2) The local chosspile. What's not to love about hangdogging up some quarry cutout and then spraying about how it was actually soft?

3) That secret spot out in the middle of nowhere. You've probably never heard of it, and I don't want it to get overrun but, like, sooooo amazing brah.

4) Buildering that parking structure around the corner. Splitter #2 and 3 all the way - it's basically like the Creek, but better. You wouldn't believe it.

5) Anywhere in Florida. Best sand(s̶t̶o̶n̶e̶) in the country.

Documenting all these glorious locations for my upcoming trip for sure!!!!!
