Gym climbing North Korea Style

Have you ever see anything like this? Are they wearing their harness upside down ? is that special harness?
I m really confused….

They are regular gym harnesses, but on backwards.

When you fall or hang you would naturally lean forward instead of sitting back like in a chair.

Getting lowered must be really uncomfortable.

I know but why are they wearing it  like this??
Hypothesis: That is the subtle way of the local climbing community to fight the imperialism of the western civilisation that would like, under order of the CIA of course, to impose them to tie-up in front ;)

Plausible?....

Fall protection harnesses tend to anchor in the back, I imagine someone just assumed climbing harnesses worked the same.

Probably not something easily searchable for people with little to no internet access.

OP has not climbed Murderhorn.  OP is bad.  OP should feel bad.  OP is jealous his bowling alley makes him wear shoes.

Dear leader also summited when he was only 6 years of age, and immediately after his descent, the summit was struck by lightning and crumbled downward 200m, making his ascension the tallest Mt. Everest summit for all eternity.

It is well known that Dear Leader prefers that style of Harness when he runs laps on Silence to warm up.
