Bolted top rope areas in Jtree / easy sport climbs?

Any good crags with bolts for top rope anchors in Jtree? Also any recs on easy sport climbs?

If I was looking for easy sport climbs with bolted top rope anchors, Jtree would be at the very bottom of my list. I'd recommend going to New Jack City in Barstow instead, I think you'll find much more of what you're looking for there.

Savior! Thanks for this recommendation, I was just looking for something like this. Do you know additional similar crags up north in the Eastern Sierras? Doing a trip in a few days from JT up to Yosemite then SF and would be nice to hit a crag in the Sierras but I don't do trad/long runouts.

If you're looking for bolted stuff in the Eastern Sierras, the top choice would be Owens River Gorge (note that you really need may want to consider an 80m rope there depending on the routes you're interested in) and second choice would be Pine Creek Canyon which is very close to Owens River Gorge but has more of a mix of trad and sport.  Both places can be accessed easily from Bishop.

You absolutely do not "really need" an 80M rope in the ORG.  I climbed there for decades without one. This topic was just discussed in norcal section.

This time of year, another choice with a much larger selection of easy sport routes than PC would actually be Alabama Hills.

Thank you Chris, very gracious of you.  It is vital for people to pay attention to rope length always.  

I get your point about Alabama Hills but it's good to be aware of this time of year when the weather temps can change so quickly.  Big altitude difference between AH and PC for sure.  And if you are looking for easy, meaning 5.6-5.8, AH has a ton of that, whereas PC sport tend to significantly harder on average.  Probably the best "cluster" of easy in PC is the Fashion Slab area.

Apart from ORG, Clark Canyon near Mammoth has a lot of really easy sport. Depending on the weather for when you’re there, it’s considerably cooler than ORG. Pine Creek is really good but most of the good sport routes aren’t that easy.

There are two areas with all bolted anchors for top roping.   The Oregon trail area near barker dam, and contact mine area near 29 palms entrance.  All the climbs listed in my sport guide have bolted anchors on top...( Or else they wouldn't be sport climbs).  Oregon trail and contact mine climbs can be set up by scrambling to top of formations and don't have to be lead.  Most climbs in Joshua tree can be top roped and not lead.

Please keep in mind that the 2 bolt  anchors are set up for rapping down. This past weekend a group had the Hemingway Buttress under siege with top ropes setup on the fixed anchors. When my partner and I rapped down they questioned why we rapping down on the anchor they were using.
