Help creating a training plan

Hello,

I started climbing in December and have progressed to v5-6 with an occasional style dependent v7 and 5.12- sport routes. I am happy with my progress, but would like to know if there is something I can be doing that’s better than my current plan (climbing as much as possible). I climbing 3-4 days a week and try and get outside when I can, but what can I do to continue growing? I’m 33 years old, 5’11” 170lbs, and haven’t really tested any of the strength metrics I’ve seen people post in here. My goals would be to continue improving consistently while I can in order to be able to try harder problems and routes outside vidmate.onl/  .

Thanks!

Kind of has that bot flavor, but apparently not from reddit.

Perhaps wezza can tell us where they climb?

I’m guessing your current approach of racking up mileage is best. What are your goals? Structure your climbing around them. Climb the style of route you’re preparing for. Practice tactics like efficient hangdogging and resting. Practice falling to if that’s a fear for you (incrementally, starting small).

As for strength training, hangboarding is great. You could slowly try easing into a routine, but not at the sacrifice of mileage on rock.

Look, bots just want to crush their projs just like us peasant humans.

Really though, a well written bot would also be able to answer your question of where they climb and would be able to describe the area, popular climbs, rock type, etc (for larger, more well known climbing areas, anyways)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
